This November/December cycle, our Life Skill is Confidence.
Throughout the whole cycle, we focus even more on this life skill and make sure that every student understands what Confidence means and why it is important in all aspects of our lives, including the martial arts
Confidence starts with Belief In Ourselves.
In order for us to grow Confident and reach our true potential, having Belief In Ourselves is essential. We all need to see and understand all that we are really capable of doing. We need to try no matter how challenging something is and how many times we may fail.
Thats why Life Skill students and Black Belt Leaders have a way to coach themselves through every hour of every day of our entire lives.
This Coaching technique is contained in “3 Magic Words”.
The 3 Magic Words are: “Yes, I Can!”
These words are Magic. Why?
They are much more than words. They are a key to a Positive Mindset.
Life isn’t always easy. Our kids have to learn to fight for their dreams at as early as possible. Solving problems and overcoming challenges can only be done if kids build confidence and believe in themselves.
It’s important to learn not to give up after the first try and lose faith in our own abilities. Whether in school, at home or later in college or a job, belief is one of the most important life skills to have in order to be successful.
At Life Skill, we challenge our students in every single lesson by teaching them new skills each cycle. They learn that they can reach their goals if they keep believing and acting on their beliefs. By believing in themselves, they develop discipline and optimism which helps significantly in almost every aspect of life. Positive thoughts are what bring the greatest achievements and makes a successful martial artist.
Like all other skills, Belief In Ourselves isn’t learned after only one lesson at Life Skill Martial Arts Millbury. Our team of instructors and you, as a parent, all need to encourage them to see themselves as Black Belt Leaders. Successful people that can do even more than they thought they ever could.
On the way to becoming a Strong and Confident Black Belt Leader,
your child will develop a strong sense of Belief.
